Looking for a perfect Lemon Glaze for your cakes, cupcakes, loafs and pancakes – stop looking and get started with my recipe! This Lemon Glaze icing is the perfect tart and sweet glaze. For a thinner consistency add an additional 1 teaspoon of lemon juice at a time.
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- ½ large lemon, juice – 3-4 tablespoons
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract *
- * 1-2 tablespoons water or milk, or as needed*
- For the glaze simply add vanilla extract and 3 tablespoons of lemon juice to powdered sugar. Stir to combine. Add an additional tablespoon of lemon juice or water, if you no longer have lemon juice. Stir to combine until your achieve your desired consistency. For a looser glaze I use 4 tablespoons lemon juice and 1 tablespoon water.
